Otago Boys’ High School, Southland Boys’ High School, King’s High School and John McGlashan College are through to the semifinals of the Otago premier schools competition, and in that order. That said, Otago Boy’s warmed up for the semis with a 47-12 away win over John McGlashan at the weekend. Otago Boys’ was undefeated in round two and is probably favourite to defend its title. In other results, Waitaki Boys’ High School beat Wakatipu High School 35-12 in Queenstown, and will play Mt Aspiring College in the middle four playoffs. Dunstan High School was too strong for the Combined Co-Eds, winning 67-10 in Alexandra.
