On June 6, HMD Global held a launch event to unveil Nokia's latest budget Android One smartphone, the Nokia 2.2, which features advanced AI tech and Android Pie for just over US$100 (RM415). HMD Global announced this week that Nokia has added another member to its Android One family: the Nokia 2.2. While the specs aren't anything to write home about, the handset will come out of the box powered by Android Pie, and when Android Q eventually launches, this smartphone will run it. The 5MP front camera is used for facial unlock, and Nokia promises that the 13MP rear camera will produce clear shots no matter the lighting conditions. The device will be launched soon in Europe for €99 (RM464 or about US$112) and in India for 6,999 rupees (RM418).
