HMD Global, today started rolling out the Android 10 update to the Nokia 8.1 smartphone. The device is the first in HMD’s portfolio to get the Android 10 update. The announcement also makes HMD — which owns the license for using the Nokia brand on smartphones — amongst the first to rollout Android 10 to its devices. That said, Nokia and OnePlus have usually been faster than others when it comes to updating their devices. Google made it easier for manufacturers to update devices over the past two versions of the operating system (OS).
