Karlo Nograles as Cabinet Secretary, to replace Leoncio “Jun” Evasco Jr. who will run for Bohol governor in next year’s mid-term elections, Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said on Tuesday. Panelo said Nograles is “being considered” but nothing is yet set in stone. “The announcement will be made by the President himself, as to the other members of the Cabinet who will replace those who filed their Certificate of Candidacy,” he added. Panelo said there are others who are being considered by Duterte, but Nograles is “one of those leading.”“Let’s just wait for the President to announce. Duterte’s son, former Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte, is running for Nograles’ seat in next year’s elections.
