Trevor Foster (left) and Clyde Penhelig Residents Association chairman Ian Cumberpatch have been part of a push to improve safety at the Clyde Rd and Penhelig Pl intersection. The safety of the Clyde Rd and Penhelig Pl intersection was raised as an issue by the association before the Covid-19 lockdown this year. A new plan was then created in which the no-stopping zone was extended and the bus stop was not moved. The bus stop on Clyde Rd near Penhelig Pl will stay put when the nearby no-stopping zone is extended. No-parking restrictions will be extended on Clyde Rd to improve visibility for traffic turning in and out of Penhelig Pl.
