"The decision to set up a quarantine centre at Biswa Ijtema grounds has been withdrawn," Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, additional deputy commissioner of Gazipur Metropolitan Police told BSS on Friday. Gazipur City Corporation Mayor Mohammad Jahangir Alam visited the Ijtema ground on Thursday night, he said adding that the mayor and said that coronavirus patients would be kept in quarantine on the ground. "But, we have learnt on Friday morning that it has been shifted to Uttara's Diabari area under the supervision of Bangladesh Army," he said.
