No power in Feilding overnightMost Feilding residents will be in the dark on Friday night, as their power supply is switched off. A statement from the Manawatu District Council says most properties in "the Feilding area" will be without electricity between 10pm and 5am on Saturday. "The local lines company are conducting – excuse the pun – some routine lines maintenance," the statement says. The outage has also meant the Makino Pool will be closed on Saturday. All swim school, aqua classes and club bookings are cancelled.
