Three people have appeared in court after police raids in Mosgiel netted methamphetamine, cannabis and cash. Three arrests were made following three separate raids in and around the Mosgiel area on Tuesday, Acting Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said. The three defendants appeared separately before Judge Kevin Phillips in the District Court in Dunedin yesterday. Dion Mark Pennington (43), concrete worker, of Mosgiel, was charged with offering to supply methamphetamine, between January 1 and February 14 this year; and possessing methamphetamine, and possessing cannabis, on September 15. It followed another raid in Mosgiel on September 7, during which police found a cannabis-growing operation and a firearm.
