Allahabad: Reacting to the turmoil within the ruling Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh, governor Ram Naik on Saturday remarked that there was “no constitutional crisis as of now” but made it clear that “action will be taken in accordance with law” if a situation arose wherein intervention became necessary. “I am aware of the developments in the state’s ruling party. It can be said that there is no constitutional crisis as of now before the government in the state. If such a crisis does emerge in future then action will be taken in accordance with law”, Naik said. “These men, who laid down their lives fighting for their motherland, shall ever remain a source of inspiration for the country’s youth.
