Police have blocked off a section of a wooded area near Mount Scio Road in St. John's Wednesday morning, after human remains were discovered. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to the scene just before 9 p.m. Tuesday and later confirmed that the discovery was, in fact, human remains. The identity of the remains, and how long they have been there, have yet to be determined. Police are still at the scene Wednesday morning, after a discovery of human remains off in St. John's. Officers have blocked off a section of a walking trail and remain at the scene.
