22 Penn State defeated No. 16 Michigan State 75-70 on Tuesday. Stevens sank a pair of free throws to give Penn State a 71-68 lead with 16 seconds left. The Spartans (16-7, 8-4) had been 23-1 all-time at home against Penn State before this game. The Nittany Lions pulled out to an early 10-point lead after halftime, but Michigan State came right back with a 12-2 run.
