A section of MPs from Machakos county have urged Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaisserry to crack the whip on rogue officers to end extra-judicial killings. Mavoko MP Patrick Makau, Kathiani’s Robert Mbui and East African Legislative Assembly MP Peter Mathuki said the police service is “rotten and needs Nkaisserry’s quick intervention”. They spoke during a Law Society of Kenya, Machakos Chapter’s event in Mavoko on Wednesday.
