PETALING JAYA: Kedah, which saw the emergence of the Sivagangga cluster, is seeing the rise of another Covid-19 cluster in its Tawar district after nine members of the same family were found to be infected. “The event that went on from July 31 until Aug 1 was estimated to have been attended by 30 people, ” said Dr Noor Hisham. “All the new cases in this cluster are among his family members. Dr Noor Hisham said the Form Five student from Lembah Pantai in a viral message who purportedly had Covid-19 had tested negative. “Close contact screening was carried out among 54 people involving 42 at the secondary school, four family members, five relatives and three healthcare workers.
