The accused Md Palash, 21, Md Sujon Sikder, 20, Md Ferdous, 25, and Kabir Hossain, 30, were arrested in a case filed by the woman following the incident on Monday. In Jhenaidah, police arrested Mahbubur Rahman, 32, and sent him to jail for raping a woman in the Kaliganj upazila on Tuesday,. In Gopalganj, the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Monday arrested Jamal Sheikh, 35, in a case filed for raping a fourth-grader in the Muksudpur upazila of Jamalpur. The woman filed the case with the Rajbari Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal on Monday.
