DHAKA, March 28, 2026 (BSS) - On the occasion of Independence and NationalDay 2026, the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) conferred honorary commissions onnine personnel, recognizing their long service, professionalism andcontributions. A release of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate statedthis in the evening. Under the guidance of Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force AirChief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, three Honorary Flying Officers of the AirForce were officially conferred the title of Honorary Flight Lieutenant andsix Master Warrant Officers were officially conferred the title of HonoraryFlying Officer on the Independence Day-2026, it said. The Air Commanders of the concerned bases or units were present as the chiefguests and presented the honorary rank badges. This BAF Honorary Commissions will be effective from March 26, 2026, the ISPRadded.
