Night feeding homeless prompts girl to write to PM

By Nicole BarrattA 5-year-old's night of feeding the homeless prompted the youngster to write to the Prime Minister to ask for extra housing. The Herald approached the office of Prime Minister John Key for comment, who referred to Minister for Social Housing Paula Bennett. It read: "My name is Peyton and I'm going to be the Prime Minister one day," Peyton Kauri wrote. Peyton Kauri's father, Kody Kauri, had taken his five children with him to Bruce Pulman Park in Papakura on Saturday night to feed the homeless. Members of the Kiwi Daddys Facebook page had organised the night of delivering food to people sleeping in cars.
