Amid the growing COVID-19 cases, the night curfew in 36 cities of Gujarat has been extended by a week till May 18. The night curfew timings in Gujarat are from 8 pm to 6 am. Apart from the night curfew, the state has also imposed certain other daytime restrictions till May 12 to check the spread of the virus. Markets and shops selling vegetables and fruits, bakeries, hotels, and restaurants having a takeaway facility were allowed to operate.
