The 21st Nickel Independent Film Festival goes virtual from July 19-25, highlighting the best and brightest in film that Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer. Watch more than 100 new and classic independent films - all forand from the comfort of your home.The festival, usually held at the LSPU Hall in St. John's, will rununtil July 25. Devin Shears is the director of programming at the Nickel Independent Film Festival. Roger Maunder’s Stand for Hannah, Cody Westman’s Hell or Clean Water, Jamie Miller’s MerBy’s are streaming at this year's Nickel Independent Film Festival. It's the opening day film at the Nickel Festival on July 19.
