KUALA LUMPUR: Nibong Tebal MP Datuk Mansor Othman collapsed as he was delivering his Budget 2020 speech in the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Oct 21). Deputy Dewan Rakyat Speaker Nga Kor Ming then asked for someone to call a doctor from the clinic in Parliament. Mansor was wheeled out of the Dewan Rakyat in a wheelchair and was taken to the clinic. "We hope that Nibong Tebal will recover soon," he saidNga also advised lawmakers to take care of their health. In 2016, Mohamad Hanipa collapsed during the Dewan Rakyat session, and was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed at his seat.
