KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has fired back at Pakatan Harapan for accusing him of cooking up plans to disrupt the ruling party. “They are afraid of their own shadow and will put the blame on others instead of looking into the mirror. “Why the obsession of wanting to become the prime minister and dwell on speculation, when these issues do nothing to help people on the streets?” he said. His statement received criticism, but Hishammuddin cautioned Malay-based parties against taking an arrogant view of Dr Mahathir’s call for unity. The next day, PH secretarial council issued a statement urging Hishammuddin to stop his campaign for a new government without DAP and Amanah.
