GEORGE TOWN: The case involving four teenagers charged with the murder of T. Nhaveen has been transferred to the Penang High Court. They were jointly charged with murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries the mandatory death sentence upon conviction. Magistrate Mohamad Amin Shahul Hamid allowed the transfer following the request from deputy public prosecutor Nurul Fatin Husin on Monday (Feb 26). Lawyers Datuk Ranjit Singh, S. Yagoo and Maanveer Singh represented the accused. DPP Farah Aimy Zainul Anwar prosecuted while lawyers Datuk Ranjit Singh, S. Yagoo and Maanveer Singh represented the accused.
