NewsThe next "Enterprise Sri Lanka" Exhibition will be held in Kurunegala in December, Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera revealed yesterday (4). Speaking during a media briefing at the Finance Ministry last evening, Minister Samaraweera stated that the first Enterprise Sri Lanka Exhibition, which was held in Monaragala from August 29 to 31, was a resounding success, with more than 600, 000 people coming to see it during the days it was held. The plan had been to hold the second such exhibition in Anuradhapura in December. However, it was decided to shift that exhibition to Kurunegala as several Cabinet Ministers had noted that heavy rains are usually expected in Anuradhapura around that time. Anuradhapura will host the third 'Enterprise Sri Lanka' exhibition in February, next year, while the exhibition will be held in Jaffna in May, he further stated.
