16, series of 2018, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III prescribed the computation of workers’ wages on Nov. 30. However, if the employees worked on the said holiday, they shall be paid 200 percent of their regular salary for the first eight hours. In addition, if the employees worked in excess of eight hours, they shall be paid an additional 30 percent of their hourly rate. If employees worked during a regular holiday that also falls on their rest day, they shall be paid an extra 30 percent of the daily rate of 200 percent. Employees who worked in excess of eight hours during a regular holiday that also falls on their rest day they shall be paid an extra 30 percent of their hourly rate.
