Sheikh Khaled has reportedly agreed to buy Newcastle from Mike Ashley in a £350m deal. Not much is known about the man behind the deal and it was recently revealed reports suggesting he is related to Manchester City owner Sheikh are false. Newcastle Chronicle journalist Andrew Musgrove who claimed he has a smilier amount of money to Sheffield United owner Abdullah bin Mus’ad who has recently bankrolled the Blades back into the Premier League. “Confusion over Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan - especially over his wealth,” Musgrove said on Twitter. Benitez is out of contact on June 30 and has been at odds with Ashley for almost all of his tenure.
