West Bromich Albion sporting director Andrew Nestor has told supporters the club intend to give head coach Ryan Mason and his staff more time "to settle". Mason, 34, was handed the first managerial position of his career in June at The Hawthorns. The Baggies won five of their opening 10 matches, but have won only three matches since October, slipping to 16th in the Championship. In a message to fans on the club website, external, Nestor suggested there were no immediate plans to make changes. "The solutions we have implemented are with a long-term view and we hope to see greater benefits from this in the months ahead," Nestor said.
