Newcastle are aiming for three more signings after confirming Nabil Bentaleb. The Magpies recruited Bentaleb on a half-season loan deal from Shalke as Steve Bruce looked to bolster his options in midfield. According to the Athletic, Newcastle are still keen on signing at least one more winger and a full-back before the window shuts. A winger remains a priority and Newcastle have held talks with Inter Milan over a possible deal for Valentino Lazaro. Lazaro's agent was in attendance at St James' Park to witness Newcastle's shock 1-0 win over Chelsea after having held positive talks.
