The results from this system will help applicants conduct a preliminary evaluation and determine whether their intended trademark has a reasonable chance for registration. The department also introduced the "Trademark Checker" feature, which connects to its trademark database. The system provides basic guidance to applicants on preparing their trademark registration applications, including details on the relevant goods and services.
