This was confirmed to India Today by the BCCI President Anurag Thakur. "Myself and secretary Shirke will be making the decision," Thakur told India Today. BCCI has called for its AGM on 21st of September and the annual meet is the forum when the decision to appoint the new selectors is taken. But with the Lodha committee recommending a three member selection committee and restricting it to Test cricketers, the twain don't meet. The BCCI on its part has been carrying out activities with 'business as usual', even as the Lodha committee has set different timelines to complete implementation of its report.
