Stolen details of 68 million Dropbox users now selling on dark net

A few days after Dropbox officially confirmed that credentials of 68 million user were stolen from its servers, a report says that these stolen details were now on sale on the dark net, a shadowy corner of the virtual world where hackers and cyber criminals often gather. On August 31, 2016, it was reported that the popular cloud storage firm Dropbox was hacked, leading to theft of details belonging to 68 million users. The company last week announced the breach on its blog, asking users to reset their passwords. This is what it reads: "Our investigation found that usernames and passwords recently stolen from other websites were used to sign in to a small number of Dropbox accounts. A stolen password was also used to access an employee Dropbox account containing a project document with user email addresses.
