The ICC International Court of Arbitration plans to establish a scheme to give practical experience to young arbitration lawyers. Lawyers with a minimum of three years’ experience and an arbitration background will be eligible to apply before 3 December. Starting this initiative with aspiring arbitration practitioners based in Africa is a strong step towards expanding the pool of arbitration practitioners in Africa,” said Diawara. Earlier this year, the African Arbitration Association established an online tool aimed at improving visibility of arbitrators and arbitration legislation across the continent.
