President Rodrigo Duterte led the groundbreaking ceremony of the new site of the San Lorenzo Ruiz General Hospital on Tuesday, January 29. It will be replacing the San Lorenzo Ruiz Women’s Hospital, which was the smallest government hospital in the National Capital Region (NCR) with only a 10-bed capacity. Malabon City Congressman Ricky Sandoval said the new hospital can service, not only residents of Malabon, but also those who live in neighboring cities, including Caloocan, Navotas, Valenzuela, Manila, and even Bulacan.
