Share TweetBy Erma EderaNational Parks Development Committee (NPDC) executive director Penelope Belmonte on Sunday announced that the Department of Tourism (DOT), through the NPDC, will be holding activities to celebrate the Chinese New Year at the Rizal Park. In coordination with the Chinese community headed by the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Belmonte said that the ‘Chinese New Year Countdown’ will be held on February 4 at the Quirino Grandstand. She said motorists should expect heavy traffic in the said area where the celebration will be held and take alternative routes. The Chinese Garden has also been spruced up in line with the said celebration.
