Aotearoa’s recent spike in coronavirus cases has seen the nation drop 26 places in Bloomberg’s Covid Resilience Rank. New Zealand has been the longest-running first-ranked country on the Bloomberg rank, since the ranking debuted in November 2020. The country with the highest vaccination rate is the United Arab Emirates, with a rate of 82.7 per cent. New Zealand currently has a vaccination rate of 28.9 per cent.
