A leading New Zealand transport company that has its origins in South Canterbury is set to be sold to major investment firm in the US. Ritchies Transport Limited and New York-based KKR (Kohlberg Kravis Roberts), a global investment firm, announced in a statement on Friday they have signed “definitive agreements” under which KKR will acquire Ritchies.
