New Zealand Festival's new chair announcedSUPPLIED Kerry Prendergast is passing on the flame as the NZ Festival executive chair. The former mayor of Wellington is moving on to become the chair of the New Zealand Film Commission, with Geoff Dangerfield stepping in as the NZ Festival's executive chair. Kerry Prendergast has stood down as executive chair of the New Zealand Festival, after being on the festival's board for 24 years. NZ FESTIVAL Geoff Dangerfield will become the executive chair of the New Zealand Festival in August 2016. During this time she oversaw three biennial New Zealand Festivals, four annual Wellington Jazz Festivals, three Lexus Song Quests, and several special events including the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in February this year.
