The New Sunny model continues to lead sales of Japanese cars, achieving sales of 9,714 units worth EGP 1.5bn from January to September 2016. Toyota Corolla came in fourth place achieving sales of 2,891 units worth EGP 766m. From January and July, the New Sunny maintained its lead over Japanese cars, achieving sales of 7,853 units amounting to EGP 977.3m. Nissan Sentra ranked third with sales of 2,687 units worth EGP 446 over seven months. Toyota Corolla ranked fourth with sales of 1,916 units worth EGP 450m, followed by Subaru XV with sales of 1,583 units worth EGP 458m.
