Chevrolet has topped sales of US-origin personal cars in Egypt, with its models occupying the first four ranks in the first nine months of 2016. The Chevrolet Aveo topped the list of best-selling US cars in Egypt, achieving sales of EGP 379m with more than 2,757 units sold, followed by Lanos with 2,678 units sold for EGP 287m. The GP52 model came in third with 2,057 units sold worth EGP 319m. Cruze came in fourth place with 2,002 cars sold valued at EGP 392m, followed by Jeep Renegade by 1,387 units worth EGP 527m. New Optra came fourth with 1,361 units sold for EGP 194m, then the GP52 model with 1,314 units sold valued at EGP 195.7m.
