The foreign minister expressed satisfaction over the close relations between Bangladesh and Spain during the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday. Ali hoped the bilateral cooperation in trade, investment and other areas of mutual interest will deepen. The ambassador reiterated the full support of Spain to Bangladesh on the Rohingya crisis and promised further assistance to be provided bilaterally soon. He briefed the foreign minister about the latest situation in Catalonia and the position of the Spanish government. They discussed the publication of “The Unfinished Memoirs” of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Spanish.
