PUTRAJAYA: The new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner will be appointed tomorrow following the resignation of Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad. Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Dzulkifli resigned on his own accord. He said he had met with several senior officers from MACC to discuss Dzulkifli’s replacement. Dzulkifli resigned this morning and had sent in his letter of resignation to chief secretary to the government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa at 8am. Dzulkifli, 50, was appointed to head MACC on Aug 1, 2016 to replace Tan Sri Abu Kassim Mohamed.
