A man who tried to rob a woman was beaten to death on Thursday by an angry mob of people in New Delhi. A 20-year-old man, who was beaten up by a mob on Thursday for his alleged involvement in snatching a woman's mobile phone and chain, died in Mangolpuri police station in outer New Delhi. The man Ramesh, was allegedly beaten up by the mob near Mangolpuri railway station between 2.30-2.45 am. The man was later rescued by the police and rushed to a hospital, the police said. Two separate cases have been registered in connection with the robbery attempt and another with the man's death, they said.
