(Image: PA)The BBC has been at odds with No10 following the decision to scrap the free licence fee for over-75s and a row over the Last Night of the Proms. He said the numbers of people going to prison were "remarkably low" under the current system. "No one has proposed a system to us that beats the current system logically." He added: "If they want to work for the BBC, I can ask people, you would suspend their Twitter account, absolutely."
