The main entrance to the Takitimu Primary School in Nightcaps. Construction of the Takitimu Primary School’s $750,000 multipurpose technology area s expected to begin in September. The Ministry of Education is providing most of the funding for the project in Nightcaps, while the school is also contributing from its reserves. The new technology area will be built where there are two empty classrooms currently in the main school building. Turner can remember in the 1980s when it used to be an area school with about 180 Year 1-13 pupils.
