The new vaccination clinic at Alpine House in Washdyke, Timaru, was fully booked on its first day contributing to a record number of vaccinations administered in South Canterbury on Monday. South Canterbury District Health Board interim chief executive Jason Power said 1085 vaccinations were given in total in South Canterbury, which included the new pop up clinic at Alpine House in Washdyke. “This is a record number of Covid-19 vaccinations delivered in one day, since the Covid-19 vaccination roll-out commenced,” he said.
