Zoe Dryden was the winner of the Nelson Marlborough Emerging Director Award for 2020. A Nelson entrepreneur who has founded a rugby academy, a cargo container business, and an international charity – is now turning her talents to the field of governance. This month Nelson woman Zoe Dryden was the recipient of the 2020 Nelson Marlborough Emerging Director Award –which is offered every two years by the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Directors and is sponsored by Duncan Cotterill. Her previous professional experience has included founding an International Rugby Academy and running a cargo container depot business with 300-plus employees. “The Emerging Director Award is a great step towards getting that first break into the profession.”
