Neighbours battled a car engulfed in flames after it crashed into a power pole in Dunedin. Outside they found a red sedan wrapped around a power pole, with a man and a woman trapped inside the burning vehicle. It is understood at least one of the two occupants was conscious as neighbours tried to extinguish the blaze. The serious crash unit was called to the scene, while a lines company worked to restore power to the area.
