A neighbour accidentally shot and killed a man with a crossbow in Adams, Massachusetts, while attempting to protect the man from pit bulls. Police believe that on Wednesday resident Joshua Jadusingh, was accidently killed by his neighbour when the neighbour tried to neutralize the attacking pit bulls that Jadusingh owned. Berkshire County District Attorney Andrea Harrington says that police believe Jadusingh barricaded himself in a room to protect himself from his pit bulls. The neighbour shot a crossbow bolt upwards at the dog and the bolt went through a door and mortally wounded Jadusingh, who was standing on the other side. Harrington says Jadusingh’s adult male pit bulls have a history of aggression and fighting.
