The wait was nearly unbearable for Nebraska softball’s Kaylin Kinney. When a hand injury early in the 2023 season caused her to miss the rest of the season, Kinney tried to remain positive. But Kinney can’t do it alone, and because of Bahl’s injury, the strategy of Nebraska’s pitching rotation has changed. With Nebraska sure to face high-level pitching in all of its contests, a big weekend is on the way for Kinney and her pitching counterparts. Just like her overall approach, Kinney isn’t changing as she settles into the lead role in Nebraska's pitching rotation.
