Former PM to visit his ailing Begum Kulsoom NawazLAHORE: Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will leave for London today (Tuesday) along with his daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law MNA Muhammad Safdar, a private TV channel reported on Monday. The former prime minister will spend few days in the British capital to visit his ailing wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, who is currently recovering after being treated for lymphoma. During his earlier visit, Nawaz Sharif requested people to pray for his wife’s good health. The seat fell vacant after the Supreme Court on July 28 disqualified Nawaz Sharif in the Panama papers case over charges of concealing his salary from a Dubai-based company that he claims he never received. Despite his wife being seriously ill, the former prime minister was appearing before the courts in respect of judicial system.
