RANTAU PANJANG: The death of two Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) personnel while in the detention unit in Sungai Wangi, Sitiawan have broken the hearts of their colleagues. Colleagues of the deceased today expressed their shock and sadness over the death of Nik Muhammad Baihaqy Nik Mat, 28, and Muhammad Lailatulman Mohd Sukri, 26. Another colleague Mohd Nazri Mohd Ikhsan, 27, said the news of death of the two sailors came as a shock to many other colleagues. Meanwhile, sources said those under “punishment” would normally be sent to the detention unit for some period depending on the offences they had committed. "The minimum punishment will be 28 days’ detention and the longest is 90 days.
