Following the acceptance of his "one-line" resignation from the Punjab cabinet by chief minister Amarinder Singh, Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu on Sunday vacated the official bungalow allotted to him in Chandigarh. Sidhu has been avoiding the media for more than a month now, but annouced that he had vacated the premises on Twitter. "Have vacated the ministerial bungalow, handed it over to the Punjab Government," Sidhu tweeted. On Saturday, CM Singh had accepted Sidhu's resignation and forwarded it to Punjab Governor VP Singh Badnore who conveyed his acceptance of the same. Then on July 14, Sidhu posted on Twitter his resignation letter addressed to then Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
